Friendsgiving Brunch
Our annual Friendsgiving Potluck Brunch is back! After Sunday Service on November 24, all are invited to Fellowship Hall to enjoy a delicious meal and even better company. All ages are welcomed to come as we celebrate the season of giving and thankfulness. Sign up to RSVP or to bring a dish of your choice.
Christmas Tree Lighting
Save the date! Our annual Christmas Tree Lighting is back on Wednesday, December 4 at 6:00pm. Join us for a night of holiday fun with a hot chocolate bar, a Christmas selfie station, and live holiday-themed jazz music!

Flapjacks & Family Ministry
Calling all parents and families! Join us for a delicious breakfast before the worship service on Sunday, October 20, at 9:00am. Bring your whole family to share breakfast together. Then, we'll provide childcare as parents have a conversation about important Family Ministry Relaunch information and pray together for our kids. It is recommended that all families who have kids in CC Kids or CC Youth attend. Please register here.

Back to School Fest
Back to School Fest is a relaxing afternoon for everyone, featuring live music, lunch, ice cream, pony rides, a blessing of the backpacks, and more. The fun kicks off right after church, so come as you are and stay for a while! It’s the perfect chance to introduce friends and neighbors to The Community Church. Ticket admission includes access to all events, food, and beverages.

Protecting God's Children: The Keys to Preventing Childhood Sexual Abuse
We invite all the entire church community to attend this important training session on preventing childhood sexual abuse. Sandra Carroll, our presenter, will provide an insightful overview to raise awareness and to discuss ways we, as caring adults, can help prevent it in our community. The training will also cover vital topics for parents about protecting our children in our technology-driven world. Dinner and childcare provided.
Church at the Chapel
Join us for an evening of worship at St. Hubert’s Chapel on Lake Kinnelon in Smoke Rise. Boats will depart the dock for the Chapel beginning at 5:15 pm. Worship begins at 6:00 pm. There will be a wine and cheese reception on the beach afterwards.

Bonfire for Bros
Enjoy an evening of Beef, Beer (Birch Beer), and Bros around the fire pit at Smoke Rise Beach on Monday evening on June 24. Get to know your bros at The Community Church!
Church BBQ
Join us as we welcome the start of summer as a church community on Sunday, June 9th, right after the 10:00 am service. Some of our very own "grill masters" will provide the burgers and dogs, but feel free to show up or register to bring an appetizer, entree, or dessert. The church will also offer water, iced tea, and lemonade! From the littles to the bigs, we hope you will join us and invite your family and friends. We hope to see you all there!

Love Sunday
Join us for a Pancake Breakfast and Dental Kit Packing Party on Love Sunday, February 11. We're celebrating the connection between Kinnelon, New Jersey, and Tilori, Haiti. Help us assemble 700 Dental Hygiene Kits for the Cheerful Heart Dental Mission by bringing toothpaste, toothbrushes, and dental floss. Donations can be dropped off at the church porch collection box. In March, the Dental Mission team will distribute the kits to patients during free clinics in the underserved border region of the Dominican Republic and Haiti.

An enlightening 8-week group discipleship journey revealing the redemptive narrative of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Join us as we explore how this chronological adventure transforms the way we read Scripture and empowers us to live as active participants in God's unfolding story.

Digital Advent Calendar
You are invited to join us on an inspiring, engaging, and faith-filled artistic journey through the holidays with our first-ever Digital Advent Calendar!
Each day, we will spotlight a painting, sculpture, or photograph, accompanied by a devotional, prayer, and commentary from an artist re-emphasizing our theme of Jesus being a light in the darkness this Advent season.
The 2023 Digital Advent Calendar proudly includes many local artists and devotional writers from right here in New Jersey --- many of whom attend our church, live in the Greater Kinnelon Area, and/or are relationally connected to someone here at The Community Church.

Parenting Seminar
Parenting. The toughest job you will ever love! That is why this fall, we are taking three weeks to encourage, support, and equip parents with practical tips & tricks on creating a faith-filled home. Pastor Mike and his wife, Tara, invite you to join them in having an honest and authentic conversation, mostly about what they learned not to do, but also some patterns that might be helpful on your parenting journey. This parenting seminar will run concurrently with Kids Choir from 11:00 - 11:45 am on the following Sundays: 10/15, 10/22, & 11/5. There is no cost for this event. Coffee and light snacks will be provided.

Church at the Chapel
All are invited to a special service at St. Hubert’s Chapel on Smoke Rise lake on Saturday, July 15 at 6:00pm. Wine and cheese refreshments will be provided at the beach following the service!
Bonfire For Bros
Attention all men! Join us at the Smoke Rise Beach for an evening around the campfire with fellow friends of our community.
Spring Clean Up
Lend a helping hand. Be part of the cleanup crew and help get our beautiful church ready for summer. There will be jobs for everyone and pizza for lunch!
Pancake Breakfast
As part of the culmination of The Community Church’s Like a Good Neighbor” spring sermon series, we are hosting a Pancake Breakfast on Sunday, May 7 at 8:30am. Our honored guests at the breakfast will be men currently enrolled in the life-changing restorative programs available at the Market Street Mission. After sharing a family-style pancakes breakfast together, we all will head upstairs for our 10:00am worship service. There is no cost for the event, but suggested donation items. Sleep Out
On Saturday, May 6, The Community Church will hold its first-ever Sleep Out, a 14-hour opportunity for participants to experience some of the real struggles of those who are facing houselessness. Our Sleep Out will culminate with a pancake breakfast right before our 10:00am Sunday service together.There is no cost to participate, but suggested donation items for Market Street Mission, are encouraged.
