The 2025 Christmas Offering: Three Pathways of Peace
This Advent, The Community Church is pursuing three pathways of peace—practical, local, and spiritual expressions of Jesus’ promise:
“My peace I give to you… not as the world gives.” - John 14:27
Each pathway reflects our 2026 vision for cultivating peace around us, through us, and within our families.
1. The Community Church Park — Peace Around Us
Scripture: “He leads me beside quiet waters… He restores my soul.” - Psalm 23
God often speaks peace through creation. Phase Two of The Community Church Park will expand this peaceful outdoor environment for our church and town.
Goal: Fund the open play field and relocate the playground to complete Phase Two in time for Kids Camp.
Christmas Offering Allocation: $35,000
2. The Care Project — Peace Through Us
Scripture: “Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.” - Matthew 5:7
In 2026, we are expanding our compassion footprint through a formal partnership with The Care Center of New Jersey, serving as the Area Coordinator for the Greater Kinnelon Region.
Goal: Resource local outreach projects—care bags, furniture builds, food pantry service, and emergency needs—so individuals, families, and small groups can serve throughout the year.
Christmas Offering Allocation: $15,000
3. Family Ministry Expansion — Peace Within Our Homes
Scripture: “We will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD, his power, and the wonders he has done.” - Psalm 78:4
Children and students face constant pressures—and our church is committed to creating spaces where the peace of Christ can grow in their lives.
Goal: Upgrade Middle School and High School environments, refresh décor and technology, and expand our Elementary spaces to support significant growth (46% in 2025!).
Christmas Offering Allocation: $10,000
